Threading has been around for a while, and within Indian communities is a pretty tried and tested beauty procedure although it is only just becoming a craze in more western beauty treatments. This is possibly because the procedure involves stripping individual hairs out of your flesh with what is essentially two pieces of wire and lets be honest, most of the western market is made up entirely of complete wimps.
That said, when done correctly, it really isn’t too bad and is certainly no worse than waxing, believe me! The technique offers a far tidier finish than most techniques and seems to last a lot longer too.
Worth a try if you haven’t had it done before, even if its just for novelty purposes. For best results try and get the job done at a traditional Indian boutique, they are most likely to use the traditional and original methods with skimping.
